Regional management role for Ian Smallwood

Ian Smallwood, manager of Apple Court nursing home in Warrington, has been promoted to north rest regional manager of Hallmark Healthcare. Mr Smallwood began his career in the Royal Army Medical Corps and is a Registered General Nurse and Registered Mental Nurse, with a Diploma in Business Studies. He was involved in the original planning of Apple Court, which opened in 1997 and provides care for close to 70 elderly people who suffer from Alzheimer¹s disease and other forms of dementia. Apple Court nursing home became part of Hallmark Healthcare, which operates nursing homes throughout the UK, in 2002 and Hallmark has invested substantially in refurbishing the home and in staff training and development.
