A series of regional conferences entitled “Investing in Change” which will examine the need for a stronger and more responsive independent sector, has been arranged by the English Community Care Association (ECCA) in partnership with the Department of Health Care Services Improvement Partnership and the United Kingdom Home Care Association (UKHCA). ECCA chief executive Martin Green said the conferences were designed for small and medium enterprises, including care homes, in the independent sector to guide them through change and development. “There will be series of regional events taking place in September and October and providers will have the opportunity to set an agenda for action to ensure ongoing support in the delivery of social care,” said Mr Green. # For further information, or to book a delegate place at a cost of £40, contact Francois Smit, the event organiser by email: or phone/fax 020 7837 7982.
