Registration of front line care staff is next priority

Addressing the Kent Care Homes Association conference in May, Kate McMullen, a policy advisor for the General Social Care Council (GSCC), said social care managers and front line staff in direct contact with service users should be the next priority group to be registered. Ms McMullen defended the duplication of registration with those already registered with CSCI but promised that the process would be streamlined.
