Restructured Farrow uses Intellect

Children¹s care home operator Farrow House plc has recently commissioned Workforce software from Intellect, a specialist human resources company. Based in Wisbech, Cambridgeshire, Farrow House has 10 residential children¹s homes around the United Kingdom, as well as an expanding network of regional education units, with three regional centres and employs about 200 staff. The first of its regional offices went live with the Workforce Human Resource Manager module of the software in January, with the rest of the organisation set to follow suit over the next few months. Farrow House director and co-founder Christina Kember said the decision to purchase Workforce coincided with a major internal restructuring, designed to put the company in a strong position to realise its growth strategy for the next two years. “Installing and implementing Workforce has involved quite a few challenges,” Ms Kember said. “Not only have we been learning a new system from scratch, but we have also been developing our own internal i
