Retirement village providers form trade association

A trade association was launched in September for operators of UK retirement villages, with the title of the Association of Retirement Village Operators UK (ARVOUK).

The organisation’s chairman, Nick Sanderson (who is chief executive of Raven Audley Court) said ARVOUK had been established to enhance the professionalism of an industry attracting growing interest at a time when housing, health and care were becoming increasingly independent in a rapidly ageing society.
