RNHA response to standards

The national management committee of the Registered Nursing Homes Association has appointed RNHA director of nursing Linda Nazarko to co-ordinate its response to the recently released consultation document on National Required Standards for care homes. “We will examine the proposed standards to determine whether they fulfil their stated aims. It is vital that we get standards right,” Mrs Nazarko said. The RNHA intends to file its submission on the consultation document, “Fit for the Future” by the end of November.
