R&RA calls for consistency in care home inspections

‘Care home inspection is a lottery and needs to be tightened up,’ says Dr Gillian Dalley, chief executive of the Relatives and Residents Association, in a call to the new care homes regulator, the Care Quality Commission.

‘The same standard of service may be given different ratings in different homes,’ said Dr Dalley.
