The Swivel Bather is described by its makers, Myco (UK) Cristol Ltd, as a popular rotating seat that allows the user to be seated from the side of the bath and then to transfer easily over the bath for a wash or shower. Marketing director Les Spitz said the comfortable seat provides back and arm support and is ideal for people who feel insecure on a bath board. “Safe to use, comfortable and secure, the Swivel Bather locks in both the transfer and bathing position, rests on any standard bath and requires no fixtures or fittings,” Mr Spitz said. “It is easily removable for others to use the bath and quality construction ensures long term reliability.” Myco have recently launched the Adjustable Width Swivel Bather which Mr Spitz said was proving popular with Social Services. “Similar in appearance to the standard Swivel Bather, this model allows the user to adjust the length of each arm of the base unit independently,” he said. “The width over the bath is adjustable from 26″ to 29″ (660 745mm).” Tel: 020 8866
