Selling guide available

GVA Grimley’s healthcare team has produced a bulletin advising care home owners about key aspects of preparing themselves and their care home for a sale. Written by Jessamy Venables, partner of the healthcare team, the bulletin covers numerous aspects, including pre-sale preparation, the sale process, confidentiality and likely realisation. It also covers the tricky question of employees’ rights under the TUPE regulations, which all vendors need to be aware of before instructing an agent in a sale. Amanda Nurse, lead partner of the team, said vendors were too often pressured into a sale without understanding what the process will entail. “We hope that this bulletin will go some way towards righting this balance and keeping vendors informed of what will be expected of them before and during the sale process,” said Ms Nurse. # To receive a free copy of the bulletin, contact Sara Bayley on Tel: 0121 609 8651 or email your contact details to sara.bayley@gvagrimley.co.uk
