Specialist mental health care and related services provider Partnerships in Care has appointed Fred Sinclair-Brown as its new chief executive following the retirement of Peter Farrier. Mr Sinclair-Brown qualified as a chartered accountant with Price Waterhouse before spending time as corporate finance director with both the HSBC Group and Bank of Ireland. In 1993 he joined ANS where he spent 13 years as group finance director and for the last five years combined that with chief operating officer. Mr Sinclair-Brown was instrumental in growing the business during his time there. ANS had been a large healthcare operation with 46 care homes throughout the UK, and was acquired by BUPA late last year.
