Social care reform – ‘time is running out’ says charity

Time is running out for radical reform of the care system to support the growing number of older people needing care, warns national older people’s charity Counsel and Care.

Speaking at the ‘New challenges for care homes’ conference, Stephen Burke, chief executive of Counsel and Care, said older people were facing the toughest of times.
