Southern Cross commissions Pitkerro

Major provider Southern Cross Healthcare has opened a new £4m purpose built home, the Pitkerro Care Centre in Dundee.

The 70-bed home will provide care for elderly adults who are mentally impaired as well as those who experience physical frailty and need long-term convalescence or respite care. Southern Cross is the biggest provider of care homes and long term care beds in the UK with a total of 652 care homes and 33,031 available beds.
