SRS signs deal with Scottish Healthcare

SRS Technology Group plc, which was recently listed on the alternative investment market, has been awarded a contract to supply its SRS100 environmental control system to the Scottish Healthcare Supplies department (SHS). The two year contract will allow individual health boards to buy the SRS100 as well as other SRS products at agreed prices. The contract also covers installation, servicing and maintenance. SRS chief executive Jurek Sikorski, said the SRS100 was a sophisticated control system which offered people with many different disabilities the opportunity to live more independently. “The system enables users to control appliances such as TVs, hi-fis, DVDs, computers and telephones. It can also to used to open and close doors and windows,” Mr Sikorski said. “The system is controlled by using a keypad, joystick or switch to navigate around the menu.
