Staff joins Crossreach

CrossReach (Church of Scotland Social Care) has appointed Alan Staff as its new director of social care. Mr Staff comes to CrossReach from a senior management post in Suffolk where he worked as a director of Suffolk Mental Health Partnerships. “It’s very exciting for me to be taking on the top post with one of Scotland’s largest social care agencies,” said Mr Staff. “I intend to use the first few months to learn more about the organisation and visit as many services as I can. “My role is to lead the organisation and look after the managers and staff in services. They’re out there doing the hard job. “CrossReach has a solid reputation for providing quality care services underpinned by Christian values and that will not change. I believe that our Christian vision allows us to work in the competitive social care arena very effectively.” CrossReach operates more than 80 care services across Scotland and cares for thousands of people in need every day.
