Stockport Council sets up private provider company

Stockport Council has launched a private company which will function as a social care provider. The Council’s Older People’s Provider Services is now Individual Solutions SK, a limited company managed by Solutions SK, itself wholly Council-owned.

More than 200 staff have transferred to the company which will provide social care services to adults and older people. Services will include home support, community meals, daytime activities and learning and development support.
