The Old Vicarage is named the winner of another award

The Old Vicarage care home in Leigh, Dorset, has added to its long string od accolades by being named the regional winner of the Edge Employer Awards 2006, winning a prize of £5,000 for further investment into training. Through its provision of excellent practical learning opportunities for staff, The Old Vicarage won the South West small business category and will now go through to the national finals to be held later this year. Edge is an independent foundation dedicated to raising the desirability and status of vocational and practical learning among 14 – 24 year olds of all levels of ability.
