TRACS acquires Compass Care

TRACS Care Group Ltd, a major provider of specialist residential care homes for adults with mental health needs, has acquired Compass Care. Operating residential care homes for adults with learning disabilities and mental health needs in Northampton and Suffolk, Compass Care was set up in 2000 and accommodates clients who may be making their first community placement from a secure unit. Operating in South Wales and the Midlands, TRACS Care Group was established when TRACS Ltd was acquired by independent private equity provider Sovereign Capital, the which has a particular focus on investing in the health and social care sector. TRACS says its growth strategy is ahead of plan with new services in autism and mental health now available. With the acquisition of Compass Care, the group will provide services for more than 158 clients in 20 residential homes.
