A new centre bringing health and social services together under one roof has been opened by Welsh health minister Edwina Hart. The £6m Welsh Assembly funded South Pembrokeshire Hospital, Health and Social Care Resource Centre is a partnership between the local council, LHB NHS Trust and the voluntary sector.

Edwina Hart said closer integration of health and social service was central to the future of the health service as it celebrated its 60th anniversary this year.
