Wipes welcomed by healthcare workers

Reed Shilling Healthcare says it has received an excellent response following the successful launch in September of its multi-surface wipe ­ Oasis Omni at the Wintergardens in Blackpool. The company quotes the following from a person it describes as a “respected infection control nurse”: “Oasis Omni is what we have been waiting for ­ a large, low-foaming wipe with no alcohol or disinfectant.” Reed Shilling marketing manager Sharon Englefield said Oasis Omni had been specially developed to simplify routine cleaning and damp-dusting in one easy step and was ideal for a multitude of general cleaning applications, such as tables, worktops and trolleys, in a healthcare environment. Ms Englefield said the wipes are also excellent for removing heavy soil from mattress covers. “The wipes are impregnated with a strong but gentle formula with a fresh and light fragrance, which does not contain alcohol or disinfectant,” Ms Englefield said. “Unlike some surface wipes, Oasis Omni is both large in size and will not leave
