The 2002 Edition of the A-Z Care Homes Guide is now available. The guide provides a directory of the care home sector throughout the UK and is divided into four main sections: residential care homes; nursing homes; independent hospitals and clinics and the A-Z Buyers Guide for care homes. There are additional sections for care home groups, operators of community care housing, charities and voluntary organisations. The guide also features a section on care home statistics, outlining changes in numbers of care homes, comparisons of charge rates, and care homes by number of beds and by specialist care category. The A-Z database is also available on disk, CD-Rom or floppy disk formats, which can enable sales campaigns to be targeted to care homes by region, size of home and category of care, using standard word-processing packages.l For more information on the A-Z Care Homes Guide contact: Davina Ludlow, Publisher, A-Z Care Homes Guide, P0 Box 7677, Hungerford, RGI7 OFX.Tel: 01488 684321 Fax: 01488 681968 Or visit
