£60m retirement village given planning consent

A new retirement village in Leicestershire, which will include a 70-bed care home,  has been given the go ahead by council planners.

Chek Whyte Industries has been told  by Rushcliffe Borough Council that it can now go ahead with the £60m development at Stanford Hall near Loughborough.

Set on a 365 acre estate the village will consist of a 120-home retirement village with sh
