Analysts list ’15 best trading partners’ for 2001

Market analysts Plimsoll Publishing have identified what they describe as the 15 best trading partners in the residential care sector for 2001. Listed in alphabetical order, the companies are: – Baytrees Homes Ltd – Bridge Care Ltd – Fircroft Services Ltd – Fraterdrive Ltd – Hagas (Home & Garden) Supplies Lt – Hordle Cliff House Ltd – Hyelm Movement – Kent Count (Residential Homes) Ltd – Nestor Healthcare Group plc – Phoenix House – PLM Enterprises Ltd – Robinia Care Homes Ltd – Saffronland Ltd – Sovereign Care Homes plc – Warwickshire Home Care Services Ltd Plimsoll said the companies were selected for their financial and commercial success, showing a strong balance sheet, good profitability and sound cash control. The company with the biggest market share increase over the last year was the Nestor Healthcare Group, which increased sales by more than £15 million and now are reported to have sales of almost £277 million. Plimsoll says this 6 per cent growth is well above the industry average of 5.5 per cent
