FPDSavills has appointed Andrew Surgenor, previously head of healthcare at Edward Symmons, and Craig Woollam, previously head of healthcare at Christie & Co, to jointly head up its new national healthcare division. With 30 years’ experience between them, Mr Woollam will head up the agency side and Mr Surgenor the professional and valuation services. The FPDSavills healthcare division will advise the private sector, local authorities and not-for-profit organisations on businesses ranging from nursing, residential and specialist fields together with hospitals, clinics, assisted living and sheltered accommodation. Other markets in which they will be active include medical centres, surgeries and children’s day nurseries. FPDSavills say they will offer a fresh and impartial approach when servicing operators, funders and investors by providing a “one-stop” service. This will include acquisitions and sales, valuation and feasibility studies, planning, design and development as well as sourcing finance and investment
