Ashbourne acquires Perthshire care home

Ashbourne Healthcare has acquired a long established care home, the 61-bed Muirton House, in the heart of rural Perthshire, bringing the total number of homes in the Ashbourne group’s portfolio to 197 with an overall bed capacity of 10,450. Ashbourne chief executive Jim Flaherty said Muirton House was acquired for £2.9 million and had raised the total number of acquisitions secured by Ashbourne to 16 over the last 18 months at a total cost of more than £300 million.
