Baseline buys in Cornwall

Expanding care operator, Baseline Group, has recently acquired the Greenview nursing home in Torpoint, Cornwall through the Exeter office of business agents, Christie + Co. Situated just outside the centre of the estuary town of Torpoint, the property has been extended and modified and now provides accommodation for up to 28 clients in five single and 10 shared bedrooms. It is understood that planning permission has been passed for a further nine bedrooms to be added to the rear, which attracted strong interest from a host of potential buyers. Simon Harvey, from Christie + Co’s Exeter office, who handled the sale, said Greenview had been owned and operated by John and Margaret Fealey since 1988 and they have now retired from the care sector. “Baseline Group is based in Dorset and already has homes across the south coast,” said Mr Harvey. “This is the third care home in the South West that the group has purchased through Christie + Co in the
