Care South appoints Hawes as new care services director

Not-for-profit provider Care South has appointed Richard Hawes as their new director of care services.

As a Registered Mental Health Nurse Mr Hawes has experience in both the NHS and the private care homes sector, where he was recently an operational director.

Chief executive Susan Willoughby said Care South was looking to develop its business throughout the South of England and needed someone who had the experience to do this as well as ensure the quality of the service provided in Care South’s existing homes never falters.

“Richard’s awareness and experience of working with local authorities and Primary Care Trusts, combined with his commercial expertise, makes him an ideal person to help us develop our residential care services,” said Ms Willoughby.
