Care South buys Beauchamp

Not-for-profit provider Care South, advised by Savills, has purchased Beauchamp House nursing home in near Taunton, Somerset, from Beauchamp’s Country House Care, for a price in the region of £5 million.

Beauchamp House is a Georgian country house, built in the 18th century, which became Somerset’s first private nursing home in 1956. The 40-bed care home also comprises 12 cottages and apartments in its grounds for more independent living, known as Beauchamp Gardens.
