Caring Times’ 20th anniversary

Caring Times is 20 years old this year. For two decades this magazine has reported the news and documented the development of social care in the United Kingdom. Through times of optimism, growth and investment and through periods of uncertainty, closures and contraction, Caring Times has been the journal to which care providers have turned to keep themselves better informed.

Without question, Caring Times is the most highly regarded journal in our sector and we at Hawker Publications are quietly proud of what has been achieved over the past 20 years. These achievements include establishing the National Care Awards, which celebrate their 10th anniversary this year and the launching of the inaugural National Care Homes Congress in March. Other events such as CareAgenda, our regular business brunches and our Christmas business lunch have all become etched into our readers’ annual calenders.

To mark this milestone of 20 years’ service to the sector we are going to take a long look ba
