Castlebeck promotes Short

Learning disabilities provider the Castlebeck Group has made changes to its finance team, promoting Mark Short from the role of financial controller to finance director for the company which has its head office in Darlington. The 33-year-old, who joined Castlebeck two years ago, has taken over from Roger Queen, 42, who decided to move on to new opportunities at the time of sale of the company in July. “I’m looking forward to my new role and the extra weight and responsibility it carries,” said Mr Short. “The business is moving forward and growing so this is an exciting time to be working for Castlebeck.” Scott Mounsey, who is taking on the role of financial controller, previously worked for Pregis Rigid Packaging in Stanley and before that spent four years with chemical manufacturer Solvitol. Castlebeck is a leading provider of specialist health care and rehabilitation services for people with learning disabilities.
