Celebrating success in the care sector

More than 500 people, representing all areas of the long term care sector, celebrated at the annual Care Awards held in London in November. Organised by Caring Times, with property agents Christie & Co as the main sponsor, the Care Awards are now in their third year and have become the foremost event at which the sector recognises and celebrates its achievers. The evening¹s host, comedy broadcaster Barry Cryer, presided over 11 categories of awards including two new categories ­ Care RGN (won by Janet Angeles, clinical manager at Daken House in London) and Care Volunteer (won by Mario Kreft of Care Forum Wales).
