Cornwall Care wins business award

Not-for-profit provider Cornwall Care has won the award for Customer Focus at the Cornwall Business Awards. Cornwall Care emerged the winner from 26 other entrants in the category to be crowned winner at the 2007 awards. Chief executive Douglas Webb said the dedication and determination of the team over the years had enabled Cornwall Care to highlight its outstanding insight into customer needs and lead it to victory in the hotly contested category. “We are overjoyed to win the Customer Focus Award,” said Mr Webb. “In the care sector, where our customer is so vital to our business there is no better award to win. I am proud of the work carried out by the Cornwall Care team and the reputation we have gained from our excellent track record.” The Business Awards presented Cornwall Enterprise in partnership with Business Link, are designed to raise the county’s profile, by celebrating the quality and diversity of Cornwall’s burgeoning business community.
