CSCI launches website for professionals

People who work in social care are being encouraged to “bookmark” a new website set up by the Commission for Social care Inspection – Information on the site includes CSCI’s policies, how the regulator works with councils, news on developments such as quality ratings for care services and a guide to government regulations and National Minimum Standards. Launching the site, Judith Thomas, CSCI’s director of communications, user and public involvement, said one of the Commission’s most important aims was to work with councils and providers to improve social care services. “Information on how we work that is easily accessible, relevant and accurate is key to this,” said Ms Thomas. “Working with and testing the site with dozens of councils and providers means that the new website is targeted at social care professionals to give them the best possible information to help make services better for those who use them.”
