Death of sanitation expert

Care home sanitation specialist John Mitchell has died, aged 71. Mr Mitchell, who retired earlier this year, was principal of MR Laundry Systems, and of Mitchell Associates, a consultancy company offering independent advice on sluice room equipment and laundry systems for the care home market. He was the author of two major works of reference (now in a second edition): Sluice rooms ­ a Practical Guide, and In-House Care Home Laundry Systems – A Practical Guide.
