Des Kelly is first chair of new providers’ alliance

Eleven care provider organisations have formed a new body – the Care Providers Alliance – to offer leadership to the care sector at a time of considerable change and uncertainty. It plans to develop a means of engaging effectively with policymakers, national bodies, commissioners and regulators.

The four major associations representing care home operators are all signed-up to the new body – The English Community Care Care Association (ECCA), the National Care Forum (NCF) the National Care Association (NCA) and the Registered Nursing Home Association (RNHA).
