Design prize for Lostock Lodge

Lostock Lodge in Preston, Lancashire, has donated the £500 it won as one of three national finalists in the Pinders Healthcare Design Awards to the Derian House Children¹s Hospice. Lostock, a family owned and managed residential home which provides residential and day care to elderly people, has been nominated for the award for the design and build of the new accommodation extension that was undertaken in 2001. Lostock Lodge now has 32 single en-suite rooms, each with TV and telephone facilities. Lostock Lodge also gained “lnvestors in People” status last year, adding to their increasing success.
