Ethic care register compiled

Posted on February 1st, by editor in Caring Times. No Comments

The African Caribbean Project of The Relatives Association has compiled a register of residential care homes, sheltered and very sheltered housing in London which focus on the needs of African Caribbean elders. The association reports that it was unable to locate any nursing homes in the London area where African Caribbean culture pre-dominates. The project is now identifying care facilities which focus on African Caribbean culture in other regional centres and will welcome any information. The London directory costs £1.60 to cover the costs of copying and postage but organisations which buy it are encouraged to photocopy it for wider distribution. For more details, contact the Relatives Association on 0171 916 6055.
