Exciting colours in heavy duty flooring

A variety of inlaid animal motifs are featured in Polyflor 2000 PUR heavy duty sheet vinyl flooring installed in the remodelled and extended accident and emergency unit of Whiston Hospital, Prescot, Merseyside. Chosen for its exciting colour palette of 25 shades, the flooring was fitted by Brian Watts Floors of Hoole, Chester and the inlaid motifs were created via the Polyflor Expressions Designs Service which uses computerised water jet cutting techniques to produce a variety of precise shapes and styles for inlaid decoration. Polyflor 2000 PUR heavy duty vinyl features a high quality polyurethane reinforcement which, combined with a superior closed surface finish, is said to facilitate a low cost, polish-free maintenance regime for the lifetime of the floorcovering and is available in a choice of three gauges ­ 2mm, 2.5mm and 3mm ­ to suit differing traffic levels. In common with all Polyflor sheet vinyl floorcoverings, Polyflor 2000 PUR can be welded at the seams and to coved skirtings to create continuo
