Healthcare Homes acquires Pri-Med

East Anglian based Healthcare Homes Group has acquired the Pri- Med Group, which operates eight care homes in the region. The deal is one of the most significant for the care sector in East Anglia in recent times and is seen by Healthcare Homes as a major strategic step forward. The acquisition takes the company’s East Anglian portfolio of properties from six to 14. The homes purchased (for an undisclosed sum) are: Barking Hall, Barking (Suffolk); Uvedale Hall, Needham Market; Fornham House, Fornham; Oaklands House, Southwold; The Gables, Gorleston; Mill Lane, Felixstowe; Foxgrove, Felixstowe and Maynell House, Felixstowe. Healthcare Homes Group chief executive Richard Clough said the acquisition of the Pri-Med homes was a major achievement for his company which had been in existence for less than a year. “These care homes are of excellent quality and provide a superb service for residents,” said Mr Clough. “Our prime aim is to continue to ensure our residents receive the very best of care and have an
