Heavyweight speakers scheduled for ‘Making Ends Meet’

A major conference for the care sector is to be held in Harrogate on Wednesday, 23rd November, alongside The Care show, a trade exhibition which focuses specifically on long term care. “Making Ends Meet” is being organised and hosted by the English Community Care Association (ECCA) and will be open to both members and non members of ECCA and each attendee will be offered free entry into The Care Show. ECCA anticipates that about 500 delegates will attend the conference at the Harrogate International Centre in North Yorkshire, and chief executive Martin Green said an inspiring line up of speakers would make it a unique opportunity for care providers – small, large, charitable and for profit – to learn, question and debate. “Delegates will hear from Dame Denise Platt, chair of CSCI about changing regulation,” said Mr Green. “With the proposed merger of the CSCI and the Healthcare Commission it is even more important for the CSCI to put its proposals in place. “ECCA has been working in partnership with the CSCI
