Heywood’s key role in consolidation

Tony Heywood joined Four Seasons Health Care in February 2005 as chief executive, following the sale of Westminster Healthcare to Barchester.

He had been managing director of Westminster’s care homes division since 2000 and held the post of chief executive since April 2002 , following a management buyout, which he led, backed by 3i. Mr Heywood is a qualified chartered accountant. Mr Heywood will continue to be involved with the independent provision of long term care through his chairanship of the English Community Care Association (ECCA).
