Leading construction group builds on strong foundations

Following a run of contract awards, Newport-based specialist construction group Castleoak Construction is currently working on projects worth £15 million which, when complete, will provide accommodation for more than 300 elderly residents across the UK. Specialising in the design and build of purpose-built long-term care accommodation nationwide, Castleoak Construction is one of the UK market leaders in the sector, and undertakes contracts for companies, housing associations and charitable trusts who are either re-providing their current properties or contracting with local authorities to re-provide their care home stock. Partnerships In recent years Castleoak has entered into a number of partnering arrangements to work on long-term programmes. The company has been awarded contracts to build Oakleigh, a second care home for Anchor Trust as part of the trust¹s Surrey externalisation programme, and Woodlands, a 64-bed nursing home in the London Borough of Merton for Central and Cecil Housing Trust.
