Local resident wins competition to name new care home

Newstone House – that was the name chosen by Colten Care from a plethora of competition entries whereby local people were invited to help name their new care home, due to open in Sturminster Newton, Dorset in October 2011.

Newstone House –  that was the name chosen by Colten Care from a plethora of competition entries whereby local people were invited to help name their new care home, due to open in Sturminster Newton, Dorset in October 2011.


The entry, which was proposed by a local resident who wished to remain anonymous, reflects the history of Sturminster Newton, and is an amalgamation of the many features that can be historically associated with the town.
