Lonsdale Midlands secures major contract

Care home service provider, Lonsdale Midlands has just secured its first significant contract to provide the management and support, in partnership with a major housing association, to three care homes in the Solihull area. The deal will involve taking on 30 additional staff to meet the needs of 12 residents. The West Bromwich based company, which provides a range of services to adults with learning disabilities, was awarded the five-year contract following a competitive tender process with several major providers. From 1st November, Lonsdale Midlands will be working with the housing management company Bromford Corinthia and the Solihull Health Authority at the Windward Way homes having taken over from Craegmoor Healthcare. Lonsdale Midlands director Mike Klymko said his company offered a fresh approach to the service delivery which would ensure improvements throughout the service, both in relation to the people who reside at the homes and to the staff who support them. “Being a locally based organisation, we
