Mencap chooses CarePlus2

Care management solutions provider Cerrus International Ltd has been selected to supply its client income system, CarePlus2, to Mencap¹s housing and support services for the management of finances for Mencap¹s residential homes. Cerrus managing director Stewart Maxwell said Mencap¹s income from its residential homes accounted for more than 80 per cent of the charity¹s total revenue and a powerful Client Income System was needed to maintain control. “Mencap recognised that CarePlus2 gave them the flexibility and power to manage their finances, both now and for the next decade,” Mr Maxwell said. “Cerrus worked closely with the Mencap project team to trial the software and CarePlus2 was successfully piloted across two regions within several homes to prove that it was completely scaleable and met all requirements. “Cerrus has provided both a software and services solution, giving Mencap not only the tools to do the job, but the people to ensure a successful implementation. “A project team has been established
