MHA Care Group is developing a new care home, Hafan y Waun in Waunfawr, Aberystwyth. The new building will offer 90 places in the home and 15 places in the day care centre. MHA says the facility will be the first of its kind in mid-Wales and the first time that the company has worked in the region. MHA says the demand for long term care beds is great and the development has been warmly received in the region. The home will comprise five respite places, 40 general nursing places and 45 residential and dementia care places.
