Essex-based TLC Care Homes Ltd has opened a new day care centre at its 16-bed Blamsters Farm care home for adults with learning disabilities in Halstead, with funding for the build provided by NatWest Commercial Banking. The new day care centre includes a sensory stimulation room with soft walls and floor to floor matting where residents can relax on beanbags and listen to soft music, look at soft images projected onto the walls or enjoy reflexology and aromatherapy treatments. There is also a therapeutic day-centre offering massage and relaxation therapy, a hot tub and offices for general administration.
