NCA announces early details of annual conference

The 2006 National Care Association (NCA) annual conference and exhibition will be held on November 1 and 2 at the Britannia International Hotel in the heart of London’s Docklands. The NCA reports that the conference agenda is almost complete and speakers already confirmed include David Behan, chief inspector of the Commission for Social Care Inspection (CSCI) and Rodney Brooks, chairman of the General Social Care Council (GSCC). NCA chief executive Sheila Scott said Professor Ian Philp, national director for older people’s services at the Department of Health, had confirmed that he would also be speaking at the conference.
