All training is carried out in-house and there is no need for the students to attend college. NCC says these courses are an opportunity for staff to obtain a nationally recognised qualification, update their existing skills and prepare themselves for the new training standards. Courses available are: – Care practices – Safe handling of medicines – Safety compliance – Supervisory management – Effective personal development Courses last about 12 weeks and comprise of a group induction, followed by one-to-one tutor support throughout.
