After several years in the planning and development stages, care provider Nellsar Ltd has opened Princess Christian, a new £7m care centre at Knaphill, close to Woking in Surrey.

Construction and fitting out of the 96-bed nursing and residential home followed the purchase of the site in 2005. Substantial funding for the project was arranged by specialist care home broker, GRP Finance.
