New infection control system

Posted on October 1st, by editor in Caring Times. No Comments

In response to the growing concerns of cross infection in establishments using surgical instruments, Stericare has put together a complete system that is said to not only sterilise comprehensively, but also monitor the performance of the equipment on an ongoing basis. The system comprises an ultrasonic cleaning bath, an autoclave, a Sterilog 2000 monitor and an instrument tray storing rack. At an introductory price of £3,236 the equipment is delivered and installed; training is given and a 12-month validation contract is supplied. Speaking at the Stericare factory in Somerset, managing director Trevor Cams said: “In today’s litigious society, good sterilisation isn’t enough – it has to be proven!” For further information please contact Stericare on telephone number: 01749 673401, fax number 01749 679608 or email: Sales@stericare .co .uk
